Activity

The restriction of spending time outdoors has reminded us how important it is to keep our pets active, happy and healthy. You can finally know when it is and when it's not enough. Animo tracks your dog's total daily activity time in hours and minutes to make sure they get enough exercise for a healthy lifestyle. Animo will start collecting data as soon as you put it on your dog's collar and within 7 days it will learn your dog's "normal" activity levels. This way, you will be able to set your dog's daily activity goals and detect if your pet's routine undergoes any changes. For example, if your dog is not eating, Animo will alert you that something may be going on.

Activities are categorized as walking, running or any other movement, such as playing. Animo allows you to set a daily goal and track your progress through the app. Graphs highlight long-term trends, where activity is divided into three intensity levels (low, medium, high).

Calories

Now that health is more of a priority than ever, knowing the calories your dog burns daily will give you peace of mind and help you set his feeding goals. Animo's calorie calculation is based on a pre-set formula that takes into account your dog's weight, calculating what he burns in each of his movements. The app will also provide you with a guide to the daily calories your dog should burn based on his weight, whether he is neutered and age.

Everything your dog does, even relaxing on the couch, burns calories. Animo tracks the calories he burns each day so you can review the data in graphs by day, week, month and year.

Sleep

A good night's sleep can do wonders for your dog's overall health and well-being, while several nights without a good night's rest can be an indication of stress or illness. Tracking your dog's sleep will help you detect if he is restless or something is wrong with him, showing early signs of discomfort.

Animo records a sleep score for each night based on duration, continuity and amount of movement during sleep.

Behavior

Are you ready for the new normal? Knowing that your pet is maintaining his behavioral routine by tracking his barking, scratching and shaking will help you anticipate if something is wrong with him allowing you to take action quickly if necessary. Animo starts recording your dog's behavioral data as soon as you put it on the collar and after a 14-day learning period, establishes what is "normal" for your pet. This way, you can easily detect any changes in behavior through reports.

Animo detects when your dog barks, scratches or shakes and informs you when there is a significant change in any of these behaviors.

Rest

Ensuring your dog enjoys a good rest is just as important as giving him enough activity - who doesn't like a little time to themselves? With Animo you'll see how much rest your dog gets during the day and you'll have peace of mind.

"Rest" is classified as periods of inactivity when your dog is sitting or lying down.
