Fiprotec Spray by Beaphar is a skin spray solution for dogs and cats with fipronil. It treats and prevents flea, tick and lice infestations in dogs and cats. Insecticidal efficacy against new flea infestations in adulthood persists up to 2 months in cats and up to 3 months in dogs, in the case of ticks up to one month, depending on environmental load.
Mode of use:
Spray the entire body of the animal at a distance of approximately 10-20 cm.
Administer the product in the opposite direction to the hairline and make sure that the coat is completely wetted.
Massage the coat, especially in long-haired animals, so that the product penetrates into the skin.
For treatment of the head area, and in the case of young or nervous pets, spray the product on a gloved hand and then rub the medicine all over the coat.
Allow to dry naturally. Do not towel dry.
Depending on the length of the coat, apply 3 to 6 ml per kg of body weight (i.e. 7.5 to 15 mg of active ingredient per kg of body weight) which is equivalent to 6 to 12 pump strokes of the 100 ml presentation per kg of body weight of the animal.
The 100 ml bottle contains:
3 to 6 treatments, approximately, for a dog
depending on the length of the coat.
Approximately 8 treatments for a short-haired cat weighing 4 kg.
a short-haired cat weighing 4 kg.
Approximately 2 treatments for a long-haired dog weighing 8 kg.
dog with a weight of 8 kg.
The formulation contains a coating agent. After spraying a film is formed which makes the coat shiny. The minimum treatment interval is 4 weeks.
Contraindications:
Do not use on sick or convalescent animals.
Do not use in rabbits, as adverse reactions and even death may occur.
Do not use in cases of hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of its excipients.
Special precautions for use in animals:
It is important to ensure that animals do not lick each other after treatment.
Ticks may latch on to animals, so transmission of infectious diseases cannot be completely ruled out in case of unfavorable conditions.
Treated animals should be kept away from fire and other heat sources as well as surfaces that may be damaged by the alcohol in the spray for at least 30 minutes after spraying and until the coat is completely dry.
Do not spray the product near a flame or any incandescent material.
